Autonomos robot
navigation sets out enormous theoretical and applied challenges to
advanced robotic systems. In this special session we intend to promote
the discussion of the most exciting issues related to such challenges
and we propose the following non exhaustive list of issues to be
included in the communications presented to this special session:
- Architectures for spatial representations ( metric, topological and hybrid)
- Optimal route finding and planning algorithms
- Human supervised( HRI) and unsupervised topological map building
- Animal navigation models and their robotic implementations
- Robotic wayfinding assistance and mobility -aid systems for visually impaired people
- Vision-based reactive algorithms for obstacle avoidance
- Visual landmarks search and recognition
- Odometry- based robot navigation
- Heterogeneous and homogeneous multi-robot navigation systems
- Nonconventional navigation environments ( aerial, underwater, underground, interstellar, disaster and devastated aereas)
We are open to include any other interesting issue
