S02. Natural Computing in Bioinformatics

Bioinformatics is nowadays an ample area of research, development and application of computational tools and approaches for expanding the use of biological, medical, behavioral or health data, including those to acquire, store, organize, archive, analyze, or visualize such data. Many different aspects of research in bioinformatics are populated by researchers who use different natural computing algorithms in their search of problem solutions. The session will provide a meeting point for IWINAC attendees and researchers who have a current or developing interest in bioinformatics problems.

Topics areas include (but are not restricted to):
