The GREAT Summer School on Astrostatistics and Data Mining in Large
Astronomical Databases is organised by the Universidad Nacional de
Educación a Distancia (Spain) in the island of La Palma. The event
will take place between May 30th and June 3rd in 2011. It is funded by the European Sience
Foundation (ESF) through the GREAT (Gaia Research for European Astronomy
Training) research
infrastructure.
Important Dates:
School registration: February 28th
Communication of acceptance: March 10th
Payment deadline: March 20th
School fee: 150 Euros.
The number of participants is limited to 30. Preference will be given
to students or postdocs working in the field or engaged in projects
related to the scientific exploitation of Gaia data.
